The project aimed at modernising the ISAC vehicle simulation library by developing advanced vehicle subsystem models suited for modern architectures. This initiative involved the creation of intricate powertrain components, thorough vehicle kinematics and dynamics models, and detailed tire-road interaction models. The goal was to ensure the simulation library could accurately represent contemporary vehicle systems and provide robust tools for future vehicle development and testing.
